The Pre-Training Webinar builds upon the foundational concepts you learned in the Gender 101 Training and introduces more of the key concepts, definitions, and benefits of gender equality in the workplace. 

  1. Meet the course team and understand approach and course objectives. 
  2. Meet facilitators and peers. 
  3. Understand the “ground rules:” respect differences of opinion, respect others who are speaking, be aware that topics are sensitive, and treat each other with kindness. 
  4. Understand the Engendering Industries program approach. 
  5. Understand the course trajectory:
    • The course uses the Engendering Industries Employee Life Cycle (ELC) approach based on the Engendering Industries Best Practices Framework.
    • Each course module has a set of assigned readings to be reviewed in advance.
    • A key course objective is the progressive drafting of a GAP to advance gender equality within your organization.
